Since our last post, we have all been battling colds. It seems like one bug after another around here! At any rate, we all are on the mend once again. Due to everyone being under the weather we had a very low-key Memorial weekend. Fortunately, we were feeling better by this last weekend so that we could go on a road trip to visit our friends Heather and Ryan. We got to their house just in time for a delicious lunch on Saturday, and then the boys went golfing while us girls hung out. We spent the evening hanging out and enjoyed a great dinner. After another delicious meal Sunday morning, we loaded up and made the three-hour trek back home. I think that the girls had a lot of fun exploring a new house and playing in an enormous yard. They also enjoyed playing with Heather and Ryan's dog, Maddie. I think the highlight for them, however, had to be playing in the sprinkler (see pictures above). Thank you for a great weekend Heather and Ryan! The rest of the month will be busy with Lance's traveling and a visit from Lance's parents. Baby developments: The girls' new thing is to put their hands up in the air and say "all done." They have also started to walk around the house holding hands, which is one of the cutest and sweetest things to watch. Unfortunately, we had to cancel their swim lessons since Lance will no longer be able to attend all of the classes with me. We hope to sign up for the next session this fall. On a more exciting note, the girls got their first sandbox, which they really seem to enjoy.
