A More Positive Post

While posting about all of the negative things going on around here lately, I forgot to mention some very exciting and positive news.  Lance got a promotion!  He will be leaving his Customer Service Rep position to become the newest Regional Service Manager for Universal Forest Products.  His region basically consists of the entire western half of the country, and he will be responsible for managing seven Customer Service Reps. This position is supposed to be based out of Windsor, CO, but Lance has been allowed the opportunity to prove that he can do the job from Minnesota.  Even though Colorado would not be a bad place to live, we are glad to be able to stay here.  Putting the house on the market and moving so far away was not something that we were really wanting to do right now.  Lance will have to travel a little more than he does right now, but we are very excited for the new opportunities this job will bring. I also forgot to mention the fun adventure that we had a few weekends ago.  We went to the local community center (where the girls will have lessons soon) for open swim.  There was an awesome children's pool and a couple of fun water slides.  We were really impressed with the whole facility and look forward to going back soon.  We are not quite sure what we are doing for Memorial weekend, but Lance will have four days off from work.  At this point, we are just looking forward to taking a drip to Nisswa, MN to visit our friends Heather and Ryan the first weekend in June.  Baby developments:  Breanne likes to walk around with her stuffed bear and have it give Reggie kisses.  The kissing sound she makes is so cute!  Breanne also likes to take my phone, jabber a few words into it (apparently saying something funny), and then laughs.  Both girls are getting really good at pointing where their nose, eyes, mouth, ears, head, hands, feet, and tummy are.
