Recipes Worth Sharing

We have been trying some new recipes, and here are a couple that we think are worth sharing. The first one is "Slow Cooker Thai Chicken" (http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/slow-cooker-thai-chicken/b8ad2965-9db0-48a1-af90-97341e6231fc?sc=All Asian Recipes&term=Asian&itemId=2493e0ac-4899-4b7c-9ebf-894c5c9d8008) I should mention that we only used chicken breasts, and simply sliced the breast and baked it in the sauce instead of using the crock pot. We served it with rice and some sauteed broccoli. Delicious! Just a warning, you have to really like peanuts to enjoy this recipe. The second recipe is "chicken tortellini soup" (http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/chicken-tortellini-soup/9b4cfb75-f88b-4c88-93a3-a0f9ecde2519?sc=Soup Recipes&term=Soup &itemId=706c4016-3ea9-4948-bd5d-29e8798dcf09). I would recommend being generous with the seasonings. I also added some spinach leaves and a can of diced tomatoes that had garlic and basil. This recipe is perfect for this time of year.
