Well, we have recovered from the shock that yet another year has come and gone. But what a year it was! Since I was not ambitious enough to get our holiday letter out this season, I guess this will have to suffice. I feel extremely guilty about this, as I even bought holiday stationery last winter when it was on clearance in preparation for this year. At any rate, 2010 was a wonderful year for us. We spent New Years Day of 2010 in the airport and on a plane returning from a trip to Phoenix and Puerto Rico. We had a great time with Lance's family in Phoenix and really enjoyed a relaxing vacation in San Juan. In March, we were lucky enough to escape apartment life and bought a little house in a quiet neighborhood of North Saint Paul. The house has needed a lot of work, so we spent a majority of our summer working on various home improvement projects. These include putting in a new deck, updating the kitchen, remodeling the bathroom, stripping the basement, and many other minor tasks. The summer also brought us the wonderful news that our family would soon be expanding - we had twins on the way! Needless to say, our summer was a blur. Fall was here before we knew it, and Lance was given an opportunity to make some changes at work. He now holds the Customer Service Rep position for the same company he has been with for years. This new position requires him to be on the road a lot, but he is much happier than he was as Production Manager. The fall ended with the excitement of my baby shower and a special visit from Anne and Kylee. It is always such a treat to spend time with Lance's family, as we just don't get the opportunity often enough. Of course, this winter has also been flying by as we enjoyed the holidays and continue to prepare for the arrival of our two little girls. Obviously, the highlight of the year has been watching the pregnancy develop, and we are very thankful for how perfect it has been progressing. 2010 closed with a very quiet evening at home, and we were both asleep by 10:30. We hope that you all had a very special and safe holiday season. We look forward to being able to introduce you all to our little ladies soon.
