Happy 4th of July to Family and Friends!

Happy 4th of July! We hope you all had a fun and safe holiday. We had a pretty quiet weekend in Janesville with gorgeous weather. On Friday our friend Katie stopped by for a quick visit with a couple of her friends on their way to Chicago. We really enjoyed having the company (even though it was only for about an hour). That night the two of us lit some fireworks in our backyard. Afterwards, we went back in the house to discover that Reggie was nowhere to be seen. He was eventually found hiding under the futon upstairs (an area of the house he is not even allowed in). Poor guy was scared to death! We caved in and let him sleep in our bedroom with us that night. On Saturady we travelled about an hour to check out a town called New Glarus aka "little Switzerland." It is a cute little town with tons of swiss culture. We went to a brewery, a winery, a chocolate shop, and a swiss restaurant before going to a drive in movie. It was great to explore a new place while enjoying time together and it allowed me to momentarily forget about all of the family fun that we were missing in North Dakota. With the long weekend over, we are starting the weekly routine of work and nightly telephone calls. Lance has actually applied for the production manager position at the Warrens plant, so we are hoping that the long distance thing will be coming to an end shortly. Hopefully, we will find out within the next month or two if we need to prepare for yet another move. Stay tuned for updates!
