I have to say that we really had a nice holiday weekend. Saturday morning we drove about 30 minutes to Maple Grove to this really cool park that Lance had heard about (see pictures below). A lot of the play equipment was unique, and the girls had a blast. After naps, we took the girls swimming at the community center and then went to a park close to home. Sunday we went to Como Zoo where the girls got up close and personal to a polar bear (see picture below) and went on a carousel ride after seeing all of the animals. Sunday morning we went to Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater before we started to think about getting ready for the week. I think it is safe to say that we had a busy and fun three days. Tuesday night I picked Angela and Reed from the airport. They had a good trip but were definitely ready to come home. Lance left Wednesday for St. Louis, MO and will be back tomorrow. We are planning to head up to Duluth for the weekend to have one last lake experience before the boat gets put away for the season and temps get too cold. We are also looking forward to starting the girls' class on Tuesday. Hope you all had a fun and safe holiday weekend!
