A Wintery Update

Well, we finally got our winter wonderland. Unfortunately, we would have appreciated it more if it had arrived around the holidays and not when we were all thinking that spring was on the way. Oh well, the temps are staying warm, so the snow will probably be gone soon. Tomorrow might even hit 50 Degrees. Needless to say, we have spent the last month trying to stay occupied indoors. Lance and I have taken the girls to a local mall a couple of times so they could play in the children's play area and just walk around exploring. Breanne expecially likes to check out the jewelery and shoe stores. Claire seems to be drawn to stores that have bright lighting and music playing. The girls and I spent most of last week in Duluth while Lance was on the road. The girls have now been battling a cold for the past five days, which I have been battling for the past three weeks. I ended up getting treated for a sinus infection, so we are keeping a close eye on the girls. Their noses have been draining a lot the last couple of days, so we are hoping that they are getting it all out of their system. Besides being a little on the cranky and clingy side, they have been handling it all like little troopers. On a happier note, Claire was discharged at her last cap fitting appointment. No more cap for Claire! Claire also got her second top tooth, so she now has five teeth. Other than that, we are just looking forward to warmer and healthier days ahead.
