The last few weeks have been unbelievable
weather wise. Last Saturday the temperature hit about 80 Degrees. Besides that, we have been seeing a lot of comfortable days in the 60s and 70s. We have been forgetting that we are still only in March. Needless to say, we have been getting the girls outside a lot. There is a small park within walking distance from our house, which we visit quite often. Both of the girls seem to really like the slides. Claire likes to go down them head first on her belly, while Breanne prefers to go feet first on her belly. They both seem to like the merry-go-round as well. Besides enjoying the time outside, we are picking up where we left off in the fall with house projects, and I am working for about five hours on Saturdays. We are also looking forward to spending Easter with my parents and sister in Duluth. Baby developments: Claire got her fourth bottom tooth, which puts her count up to six. Breanne has had four molars come through recently, which puts her count to twelve. Breanne likes to wave and say "hi" and "bye bye." Breanne has also started to throw little
hissy fits when she doesn't get what she wants. I call them
hissy fits because I don't think that she has reached the
caliber of a real tantrum yet. We have successfully eliminated the use of pacifiers except for sleep times. I think we were all starting to get pretty dependant on them, and we were not doing very well trying to meet our original goal to have no pacifiers by the time the girls were walking. Since the outdoors have been a good distraction, we figured now was as good of a time as any. We hope you are all enjoying your spring and have a fabulous Easter.
