September Happenings

We hope that you all had a good Labor Day Weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our little vacation to North Dakota. Of course, it is not a trip to Grandma's without eating delicious food nonstop. It was great to see my grandparents along with Aunt Annette, Uncle Dave, and Cousin Shawn. Unfortunately the weather was a little cooler than we had hoped, but we stayed busy playing Pinochle, playing Dominoes, eating, and eating some more. Lance also spent some time fishing. Uncle Dave, Grandpa, and Cousin Shawn took Lance to a local "hot spot" and they came home with about 8 giant Northern Pike. Dave and Shawn both caught one, and Grandpa caught the rest. Poor Lance didn't catch any! He did, however, manage to catch a nice bass back at the cabin. Now that we have returned to the "real world" we are looking forward to our next doctor appointment next week. We might be lucky enough to find out the sexes of the babies. I can't wait! We are also going to try to buckle down and get our kitchen finished in the next couple of weeks, as we are planning to have a little gathering the last weekend of September. On a side note, I have updated the link for Pat and Kristal's new blog. I have also added a link to a website that Angela has put together for her music and jewelry. Check them out!
