A Nice Long Labor Day Weekend

We hope you all had a safe and fun weekend. We stayed in Janesville and managed to get some small projects done around the house. It was great spending a long quiet weekend together since we have both been travelling so much. Angela visited me a few weeks ago, and we drove up to Green Bay to visit Pat and Tyler. Tyler has grown so much since I saw him in June. He is starting to talk more and enjoys asking "why?" to everything. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera at home. A few days after that I went to Minneapolis to Heather's bachelorette party. Then, Lance and I quickly celebrated our 2nd year of marriage before he headed back up to Warrens for the week. Last weekend we drove up to Duluth for Heather's shower. It was great to be home, even though it was a very short visit. Lance starts online classes this week for his MBA through UW-Eau Claire. He figured he might as well put all the time he spends at the hotel in Warrens to good use. September should be a quiet and hopefully cooler month. We have Heather's wedding at the end of September and then we will be spending a weekend in Chicago for my birthday. Then, Lance should be home for a few months at the end of October. We can't say how much we are looking forward to that!

We did a little tree trimming, and Reggie grabbed one of the large branches and pranced around with it throughout the rest of the day. We had a good laugh over it!
