CHICAGO, CHICAGO...THAT TODDLIN' TOWN

Well, we survived the weekend in Chicago. Unfortunately, we missed the train that we were planning to take by ten minutes because we got lost due to a confusing detour. Thankfully, we were able to take the next train that came an hour later. After the two-hour train ride we walked to the hotel and got settled. At this point I had to invest in some gel inserts for my shoes since I mistakenly chose fashion over comfort. We got some awesome Thai food and eventually made our way to the famous Navy Pier. We rode the ferris wheel and walked around the shops. Then, we went on a dinner cruise. The food was good, the weather was great, and the city lights were beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better night! The next day we had to try the world famous, Chicago-style stuffed pizza. It was delicious! I also dragged Lance back to Navy Pier, and then we headed back to the train station. We have both concluded that we could not handle living in such a huge, expensive, and crazy city. However, experiencing the city was something we will never forget and may even attempt again since we didn't get to see everything. Enjoy the pictures!
