June has just flown by! I had a wonderful visit with my sister a couple of weeks ago. I was able to show her around the exciting (said with sarcasm) town of Janesville. We also spent a day exploring Madison and enjoyed a wonderful 5-course dinner at an awesome Italian restaurant. The dinner was actually a fundraiser organized by my boss for her upcoming walk for breast cancer awareness. It was such a great time, and knowing that the money was going to a good cause was icing on the cake. Last week we had a nice visit from Lance's parents. We hadn't seen them for over a year, so it was long over due! We had a lot of fun showing them the improvements on the house and introducing them to Reggie. Lance was quite the slave driver and had his dad help him put up new shingles and gutters on the garage as well as finish up some yard work. We showed them around town, but that was somewhat limited due to flooding. We also got to give them a little taste of Madison on the way up to Eau Claire for Lance's fight. All of my family came to Eau Claire as well, and it was great to see them. Lance is still working in Warrens, and he thinks that he may be there until October. This may be a very long and lonely summer! I think that we are both looking forward to a quiet July before things start picking up again in August with preparations for my friend Heather's wedding.
