Well, it has been another busy month in the Valiquette household. Shortly after our return from Phoenix, we made a weekend trip to Duluth. I made the mistake of ignoring all the weather warnings which resulted in a 5-hour drive instead of 3. Thankfully the girls handled it really well. My mom, Lance, and I took the girls to the Shrine Circus while we were there. They seemed to really enjoy it and still talk about it. Since then, we have been keeping busy close to home. Lance is still traveling a lot for work, and the girls still have early childhood class on Tuesdays. Over the last couple of weeks we have finally started to enjoy the spring thaw. We even had temps in the low 70s last week. Needless to say, we spent as much time as possible outside. It was great not having to get all bundled up, seeing the girls getting dirty, and watching the girls enjoy their new "big girl" swings on the swing set. Of course, all good things come to an end. Temps are now barely in the 40s, and we even had snow this morning. Breanne saw the grass quickly turning white and said "I want grass" in a rather sad tone. I think we all feel the same way. Anyway, with the warmer temps last week we actually had a play date at our house with one of the boys (Seth) from class. The girls and Seth really had fun together. They played outside, played with animals inside, then even wrestled around for a while. They didn't even have any issues with sharing. Seth's mom (Cassie) and I were able to visit and have a glass of wine. It was a win-win situation for everyone! My mom was here at the end of the week to spend time with us girls while Lance tackled some projects in the basement. We took the girls to the Mall of America where the girls got spoiled with stops at Build-A-Bear, the Disney Store, and Nickelodeon Universe Amusement Park. As you can probably imagine, we were all pretty tired by the time we got home. Now, we are looking forward to spending Easter at my brother Pat's house. We hope you all have a good Easter.
