Boy oh boy, where to start! On Thursday we had a beautiful groom's dinner and night visiting with family members. Then, Friday morning the wedding whirlwind really began. First of all, the weather was a major concern since the wedding was supposed to be outdoors at my parents' house. The temps were only in the low 60s along with wind and sporatic rain. Thankfully, the rain backed off for the ceremony. Claire and Breanne loved being dressed up and having baskets with flowers. When it was time for them to walk down the aisle, however, Claire got really upset that Mommy was walking away. So, she walked down the the entire aisle crying for me. Breanne, on the other hand, relished every moment of it and did a great job putting flowers in the aisle. Once Claire reached me and calmed down, she decided that she wanted to drop her flowers as well. Once she emptied her basket, she proceeded to pick up all of her flowers. Needless to say, everyone got a good laugh. Other than that, the ceremony went smoothly and Angela and Reed exchanged some beautiful vows. We had some delicious food and eventually all made it to the reception. Angela and Reed had a beautiful venue, provided more delicious food, and had an awesome live band. People were on the dance floor all night! It was a beautiful and special day for the family. I do have to admit however, that I am a little relieved to be done with my Matron of Honor duties. Congratulations Angela and Reed!
