House Hunting

We spent a very long, busy, and exhausting weekend in Janesville looking at houses. We saw some pretty scary places along with some places that were going to be more work than we were willing to take on. Out of the ten that we looked at, there was only one that we liked. We placed a bid on that house early Saturday afternoon and we had an offer accepted by that evening. We are going to be homeowners! (Of course, it has to pass an inspection, so I am trying not to get too excited just yet). We hope to close at the end of April. We will have quite a few projects on our hands this summer, but it won't be anything we can't handle. The house has a nice fenced yard, so we will probably get a dog shortly after we move in. When we weren't looking at houses we spent a lot of time driving around to get a better feel of the town. Janesville is actually very similar to the town that we live in now, so I don't think that we will have too big of a problem adjusting. I think that we are both anxious to get past the next two months so we can roll up our sleeves and get to work turning the house into our home.
